By having to use the polarizing filter every observer has to find his own Point of View. No one sees the same pictures. Everything is filtered in life as in this video installation.

Glance, look, stare. See, notice, observe. I do it. You do it. We all do it. But what do we see? Is his POV her POV? Do you glance at things that I cannot see?

 

The video installation "monitoring" includes the short film "POV" (Point of View). POV explores various kinds of observation. Four people sitting at one table. Another lurking below. They all observe, and yet no one feels watched. They are visible invisibles compelled to aimlessly examine.
